Monday 2 June—Stuart Goldsmith: Climate Comedian

OK, Doomer! Let’s unearth your darkest, most wriggling fears about where this is all going, and transform your dread into fierce optimism!

Learn the basics of where we went wrong and what has to happen next, as Stuart take you on a journey through kelp and commitment, sense and sustainability, via caulking guns, polar bears, going mad in a forest, and how to cope when the next unprecedented weather event starts to actually feel quite “precedented”…

Stuart’s first show about the climate crisis, Spoilers, was one of the top-50 best reviewed shows at the Edinburgh Fringe, and won Best Show at Leicester Comedy Festival.

Monday 4 August—Matt Richardson: Brash

Being loud, brazen and a little bit lairy was all Matt needed to propel himself onto the comedy circuit aged 18 and be presenting national telly by 22. But faster that you can say Celebrity Coach Trip he suddenly finds himself in his 30s, so what’s next for the lad?

Matt has moved to the countryside, settled down, and is trying his hardest to not make rude jokes. It’s not going as well as he’d hoped…

Attempting to navigate a world of mate’s kids, mortgages and village life is proving a challenge for the guy who can’t resist causing a scene. How do you age with grace and dignity when it’s at odds with all personality traits that got you this far?

As seen on Dancing on Ice, The Stand Up Sketch Show, Love Island: Aftersun (ITV), Comedy Central’s Roast Battle  and many more.

Monday 29 September—Matt Green

Fresh from a sell-out national tour, online star Matt returns with brand new jokes about the state of politics, the world and himself. Matt has moved house and the world has moved into an even more chaotic state. But we can still laugh about it – right?

Is selling a flat more annoying than Donald Trump? Is Keir Starmer cursed by a name that rhymes with everything? And what happens when an algorithm knows you better than you know yourself? Some, all or none of these questions will be answered in this Work in Progress show!

As seen and heard in his viral sketches on social media and YouTube, James O’Brien’s show on LBC, Oh God What Now?, Paper Cuts, Mrs Sidhu Investigates, The Marlow Murder Club and even as a news reporter in Doctor Who! You might also have seen the back of his head in A Very Royal Scandal, but only if you were really paying attention in the wedding photographer scene.
